Day 1:
arrival in Trier, hotel
check-in
Evening: Trier welcomes you with a complimentary
dinner.
Day 2:
excursion to Metz
and Saarbrücken.
Morning: drive to Metz, the capital of Lorraine, France. (Drive your own car - Trier-Metz, about 66mi/110 km- or go by
train). An audio-guide tour will acquaint you with the sights of the city. Afternoon: continue your drive to Saarbrücken,
capital of the neighboring state of Saarland. (Metz to Saarbrücken, about 42mi/70 km). After a walk through the city,
you can enjoy the specialities of Saarland cuisine. Late evening: return to Trier.
Day 3:
excursion to Luxembourg City.
Today’s the day to enjoy the capital of the neighboring Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. (Drive your own car - Trier to Luxembourg
City, about 30mi/50 km -or take one the hourly trains).1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. guided walking tour through the former "Gibraltar
of the North". Evening: return to Trier.
Day 4:
departure after breakfast
