Official City Map of Trier

Conditions of Use

The official maps of the city of Trier which are to be found on the internet have been drawn up by the City of Trier Surveying Office on the basis of the analogous Official City Map.

• All versions of the Official City Map of Trier are subject to protection by copyright. The City of Trier Surveying Office is the owner of the copyrights to the map.
   
• With the exception of purely private use, permission must be granted in advance by the City of Trier Surveying Office for all other use of the electronic directories and maps, whether the data are used in full, in part or in extracts. This applies to all forms of use and all types of medium (digital, CD-ROM, print media etc.).
   
• Downloading of the directories and maps is not allowed, even in extract form.
   
• The setting up of links with the Official City Map for private use requires not only no official approval, it is specifically welcomed. Commercial or promotional use of links is subject to approval and a charge will be made.
   
• The city of Trier will pursue infringements of copyright through the courts in accordance with the law currently in force.

• No entries will be made on behalf of natural persons or legal entities whose aims contravene the German constitution. The same applies to entries on behalf of persons engaged in transactions which are in violation of accepted moral standards, or who put articles on the market which violate accepted moral standards.
